Beth Young Garden Design

About The Firm

After years of training and working in landscape architectural firms in the San Francisco area, Beth moved to Oregon in 1988. For ten years she was a full-time mom and community volunteer. On April 23, 1998, Beth Young Garden Design LLC was launched. Since then, the firm has taken on a variety of projects, from small patio gardens to large rural estates--and everything in between.

"I enjoy presenting my clients with creative solutions that they had not thought of themselves. That’s a fun part of my job."

Beth Young, owner

Beth has extensive experience and education in garden-related fields. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley, 1983. While in college, she worked at a retail nursery and interned at Filoli, an historic estate near San Francisco.

After graduating, she assisted and managed a variety of residential projects, working at Callander Associates and Peter Wright Shaw Associates in the Bay Area, and later as a freelance designer.

To maintain her privacy and that of her clients, Beth's resume and references are presented to prospective clients only.
